Slotwings (an offshot of Fly in Spain) has finally announced the first models and catalogue numbers for the eagerly awaited Senna Collection. Slotwings will produce every Grand Prix car driven by Ayrton Senna, and this includes lots of cars never produced before. Yes, we can look forward to Toleman, Brabham, Lotus, and multiple McLarens all driven by the legendary driver. The series is starting with the Williams FWo8 that was tested at Donington by Senna during his move up from Formula 3.
The whole project is anticipated to take around four years to complete, but the very good news is that the cars will also be issued with other driver identies as the series progresses. The Williams FW08 will be available this year as the car driven by Jacques Lafitte during the 1983 season, as well as the car driven by Senna.
