“Hi all, just to let you know we will be running two drag racing elimination races on each day at the festival, at 11 o’clock and 2 o’clock” says Steven Dudley. “These will be on a run what ya brung basis and will be either 8, 16 or 32 car fields depending on numbers. There will be prizes for the winners of each race series. If you would like to take part you will need to be at the drag strip five minutes before the start time so that we can draw run numbers.
“Each race series should take no more than half an hour (1 to 2 second runs) and you will need to hang around if you win a race… The drag strip will be open for test runs and grudge races at all other times”.
